An ambitious and creative art portfolio.
This is my summer drawing class at the Washington County Museum. I found this idea for a sketchbook on line, and thought it would be fun to incorporate it into my class. Starting with a Bristol board sheet, we drew our monster/dragon. I took them step by step, working on the eye looking through the door. We then took a sheet of regular paper, cut the door and drew walls. The children decorated the paper like their own bedrooms. We then glued the “room” onto the Bristol board and they loved it. Too fun!
