Peacock Paint Studio

An ambitious and creative art portfolio.

Another Commission Finished. Happy Customer too!

I was asked to do this painting of 5 dogs and a cat. I had a dilemma trying to figure out how to get them in a nice composition with the photos that I were given. A couple of these pets have passed on, so I wanted to make them look alive, because they were so important to my customer. (She is giving the painting to her husband for Christmas.)

In the beginning, I asked to know what their personalities were like and off I went a painting. I changed things up a bit a couple of times and this is the final outcome.

Doing multiple animals in a painting like this was a challenge. I’m so glad to say that Sally was so happy and said that I captured them each perfectly. What a relief.
